WHAT IS THE CPE?

The Certificate of Profitability Education (CPE) program is designed for Sales and Marketing professionals seeking to improve their price setting and price execution best practices. It is best suited for those in sales, marketing, product management, and finance. This program requires four credits with no exam or continuing education.

Academic Advisement

The required course for all is Introduction to Pricing on Purpose, The second course will be Value Pricing & Marketing or Value Pricing & Sales depending on the path you take (Sales or Marketing). After the completion of these courses, you may choose your electives. This program requires four credits with no exam or continuing education.

Is the CPE Program right for me?

Our CPE designation is designed for those in functions related to pricing who want to further their knowledge of how the top line impacts the bottom line. It is best suited for those in sales, marketing, product management, finance, and other pricing related functions.

How do I know which courses to choose?

Students are required to take Introduction to Pricing on Purpose, then 1-2 concentration classes (currently Sales and Marketing are offered), and then 1-2 final electives of their choice to finish their 4 credits. Your electives should be chosen based on your career goals, skill gaps and personal interests.

Are there continuing education or re-certification requirements?

There are no continuing education or re-certification requirements for the CPE program.

How much will it cost?

We offer a variety of options in pricing your CPE designation. Courses may be paid for a la carte, as a single bundle, or as a bundle for a team. We do recommend first purchasing a PPS membership as this provides discount pricing on a la carte purchases and bundles. With membership, our individual bundle inclusive of 4 online pricing courses is $1,295. Click here for more information on becoming a PPS member, and for current pricing.

WHAT IF I FAIL MY COURSE?

Online courses come with 3 attempts at the course exam. If you do not successfully pass within the allotted attempts, you will need to re-enroll in the course, inclusive of purchasing access again to the course. Online courses are $495 for members or $695 for non-members.
