Traditional approaches to pricing have decentralized price oversight to regional or channel managers. In a new era of globalization and omnichannel transparency, siloed management will lead to arbitrage, channel conflict, and substantial value loss. Pricing professionals urgently need to consider how they can begin to mitigate existing price risks, centralize price management for delivery of effective omnichannel price strategies, and leverage technology to minimize resource costs while maximizing potential.
